Singles Ministry

About us...

Our Singles Ministry covers the ages between 20-55 years of age.  It is comprised of a wide variety of people with different life experiences.  This ministry is a collection of never married, post grad, young and working professionals, divorced and widowed.  We would love for you to come check out any or all of the below opportunities to spiritually grow in faith.

 

 

 

Sunday Mornings (9:15 a.m.)

We would like to personally inviote you to our Singles Life Bible Study (i.e. Sunday School) classes which are divided into (3) different age groups...

 

20's Something (Age 20-29 yrs.) Room #204     Teaching Leaders: Brandon & Becca Prater

30's  Something (Ages 30-30 yrs.) Room #212   Teaching Leaders: David & Melissa Ballard

40's Something (Ages 40-55 yrs.) Room #210    Teaching Leaders: Steve & Lorrie Parker

 

*Each of these classes are located upstairs.  Our classes meet for assembly time each Sunday morning in Room #204 where there is a time to mingle and fellowship with one another.  Then we have a time for upcoming announcements, then we pray and go to our classes.

 

 

 

Sunday Evening Worship (6:30 p.m.)

 

This is a time where our church gathers together to worship together and be discipled by our Pastor.  Often times our Singles will go out to eat somewhere after this service.

 

 

 

S.A.L.T. (Single Adults Learning Together)

 

This is our mid-week Bible study gathering for Singles Adults.  The ages range within the 20's - 30'as age range.  This is a time where we often study specific topics (i.e. Books of the Bible, Life Issues/Challenges, etc...)  This casual study aimed at helping you learn more in depth knowledge of the Bible, be challenged to live up to what God desires you to live, and feel free to ask questions and discuss things. 

 

*We meet every Wednesday Night at 6:30 p.m. in Room #204 (upstairs).

 

 

 

Activites/Gatherings

The activities we offer vary each year (i.e. concerts, sporting events, movie nights, outdoor activities, etc...) and are open to all within this ministry.  Each class has it's own personality and offers opportunities for meeting and making new friends.

 

In my personal opinion (Trent Snyder) ..."I believe PMBC is the best well rounded church in Lexington in the areas of Worship, Ministry, Discipleship, Evangelism, and Fellowship which are identified in Acts 2:42-47. " We strongly encourage people to serve the Kingdom of God in the local church body and experience life to it's fullest.  Experience the life God intended you to live...are you up to the challenge?
